Flask Factory Flasking Process
In a Nutshell
Due to the labor required to sow seeds, we request that customers order a minimum of four flasks per pod/cross. Once we receive your order (either directly through our website or via email), we will send you a package with a prepaid shipping label, materials, and instructions for how to pack your seeds/pods. Then, send the package with your seeds back to us.
Once we receive your seeds, we will sow several mother flasks. Once the mother flasks are ready, we will replate the seedlings until they are in their final flasks. Final flasks will contain approximately 20 plants per flask. When the seedlings reach an appropriate size, we will box them up and send them to you.
Payment
We will email you an invoice for the sowing fee once your seeds are sown. We will send another invoice before shipping your final flasks. Final flasks will be shipped to you once we receive payment.
Invoices may be paid using credit card, or you can choose to send us a check. Please email us if we should expect a check in the mail.
Communication
We will send you emails letting you know the status of your orders.
We will inform you when:
- We have received your order, and have sent a package your way for shipping your seeds to us
- Your seeds have been sown
- Your seeds have germinated
- Your seedlings have been replated
- Your flasks are ready to be shipped and the remainder of payment is due
- Your flasks have shipped
- When sending anything through the mail, we will share the tracking number with you.
-We will also let you know of any issues, such as seeds not germinating, seedlings not growing as expected, or any other issue that may result in your order not being fulfilled entirely as requested.
